Calculate your returns
Estimates are based on the ETF's historical returns for the selected timeframe. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
Inputs
Computed from the available price history (currently ~5 years) to estimate a CAGR.
Projection
Using the most recent CAGR we have, applied over your 5-year horizon, compounded quarterly to reflect typical dividend distributions and reinvestments.
Trailing dividends
Based on latest trailing yield (or fallback)

How this calculator works
We take the past price history of the selected ETF and figure out an average yearly growth rate from what actually happened. That average growth rate is called CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) — it's the single yearly % that would turn the starting price into the ending price over the chosen years.
We apply that growth rate quarterly (every three months) to mimic how dividends typically show up, and we add your monthly contributions along the way. When dividends are available from the data, we reinvest them by buying more shares at the prices we have around those dividend dates.
The "Estimated dividends" line is the cash value of dividends over the period, and the reinvested totals show what happens when those dividends are used to buy more shares. This is a rough illustration; real markets move daily and future returns can differ.
